Funeral OptionsFunerals can be a celebration of a life lived and an opportunity for people to gather together and comfort one another. A death will raise many issues for families, and the funeral should reflect their needs. Different kinds of death will dictate different styles of funeral. A funeral for an elderly and much loved grandparent will be very different from the funeral for a young person who has died in a car accident. When you are planning the funeral, think about the person who has died and what aspects of their life you wish to celebrate. Think also about yourself and your family and make the funeral a time to remember as well as a time to provide comfort and strength. Services we can assist in:
We take great care in presenting a loved one so that family can visit and see them either at our tasteful rooms or at home in familiar surroundings.
Crestwood ChapelCrestwood is the largest Funeral Chapel facility in Hawke's Bay that is able to seat comfortably 200 people, while still not appearing to large for smaller services. Crestwood is fully air-conditioned and has off street parking for up to 20 family cars behind the chapel. A high quality sound system and digital projector ensures that favourite music and photo presentations can be played before, during and after the service. Adjacent to the Main Chapel is our Reception and Catering lounge, where family and friends may gather for refreshments following a service. Catering can be arranged or families may choose to organise catering themselves.
Personalised ServiceThe majority of funeral services we conduct are traditional funeral services, however over the past few years other influences have meant that this is changing and we must be able to reflect the wishes of the families and individual we serve.
